We would like to inform you of important changes at Infinity Dental Care. As Principal Dentists with nearly 25 years of experience, we have owned and operated the practice for over a decade. Throughout this time, we have remained committed to providing high-quality NHS and private dental care. Recently, we moved to new premises at 237 Brixton Hill, London, SW2 1NR, to enhance our facilities and service.
Despite hopes that a change in government would improve the situation, rising costs and a significant real-term reduction in revenue have placed the practice under financial strain. The government has ignored recommendations from the independent Doctors’ and Dentists’ Review Body (DDRB), and payments due nearly a year ago remain outstanding.
These challenges are not unique to us. Across the UK, many dental practices are reducing NHS services or transitioning to private care due to underfunding, increasing costs, and workforce shortages.
From April 2025, we will be reducing our NHS appointments, and most of our care will be provided on a private basis. However, our associate dentists will continue to offer NHS treatment, and we will still provide NHS care for children of registered patients. Should availability and funding improve, we hope to reinstate some adult NHS appointments.
We understand concerns about costs and remain committed to keeping our treatments affordable and competitively priced. To help with this transition, we have introduced a monthly payment plan starting at £22.95. Spaces are limited, but those who sign up before April will have their joining fee waived and prices frozen at last year’s rate.
